My absolute favorite type of photoshoot! Newborn sessions will be held when the baby is up to 10 days old, preferably in the first week. I like to capture them when they're little, poseable and sleepy! Because we never know when baby will decide to enter the world, please book the session for the week after your due date. If baby happens to come early or late, let me know as soon as possible so I can work you into the schedule!
I shoot all newborn photos on location at your home. I will travel up to 20 miles from the Short Pump area.
This is a time for you to hang back and relax while I work my magic with your new bundle of joy. This way the photos will be an overwhelming surprise when you receive them!
Things to have handy for the shoot are:
- Several of your favorite blankets for backdrops, bundlings, and the occasional accidents
- Pacifier
- Hats or Headbands
- Sonogram picture
- Outfit or personal item from Maternity Shoot
